My ears and feet were cut from felt with the smallest oval in the Stitched Shapes Framelits. For the feet I cut four ovals all together. I stitched two together to make one foot and stuffed it with, well, a piece of swiffer duster because it just so happened to be sitting on my desk. But hey, it worked. You could use anything. I just didn't want them to be completely flat.
For the pads of his feet (again it's felt) I used the heart from the Support Ribbon Framelits and for the toes it was the little raindrops from the Umbrella Weather Framelits. I attached these on with Aleene's Fabric Fusion. Easy peasy, you get enough play time to get his toes into the right position.
His "wittle" bum is a 3 inch white pom pom and the tail is a 1.5 inch pom pom that I trimmed down until it got to the size I liked. I hot glued the tail, feet, and ears to the "body". The trimmings I took off the tail I actually used on his feet so that they blended in with the "fur". And look Ma, he's just as cute in the Berry Basket.
Here is the supply list:
- Container - I used both the Window Box Thinlits and the Berry Basket
- Cardstock
- Easter Grass
- White and Pink Felt
- Stitched Shapes Framelits
- Support Ribbon Framelits
- Umbrella Weather Framelits
- Aleene's Fabric Fusion
- 3 inch Pom Pom
- 1.5 inch Pom Pom
- Hot Glue Gun
I hope you "wuv" him as much as I do!
