Just a reminder, my design will be changing next year. I have not entirely nailed it down yet but I do know that I will be changing the size of my monthly. I have 2019 printables available in my Etsy shop  (yes, I do have two stores) that are this size, with several different fonts to choose from, so if this is the size you prefer you may want to head over there and check them out. They are very inexpensive.

The font I chose this month is Chantiago. If you love it I do have it available in the 2019 calendar set over at my Etsy store. I think it is a really elegant font and it's one of my fave's.

October Calendar + Free Printable

Hello friends, I have the October calendar ready to share. Mom will appreciate getting it on time haha. October was a fun, easy theme! Let's take a look:
Free Printable
For those of you that have been playing along all year, the Free Printable for the October Calendar has been uploaded to the Charm Shop!
Coaster Calendars
Did you know that mini coaster calendars make really great gifts? I make a magnetic coaster calendar that has the entire year on it and give it to my neighbors. Plus, it's a very popular craft fair item! Purchasing a printable pdf is an extremely economic option. You can print an unlimited number of calendars and commercial use for projects which you sell is included. I can't cut a straight line to save my life so these files contain bleed and cut lines to help you uniformly cut out your calendars. From there, the uses are endless. Let's look at a few of my favorite examples:
Created by SCRAP-lanak
Created by Marjorie Gibson at Part Time Stamper
Created by Debbie Henderson at Debbie's Designs
Created by Dawn from DOStamping
I personally put mine on 4x4 chipboard coasters and then glue a magnetic strip to the back so that it can go on the fridge. Ready to give it a go? 2019 Calendars are available in the Charm Shop with several different fonts to choose from!

Craft Fair Series 2018 + Popcorn Sleeve Tutorial

The craft fair series continues with another top seller from 2017. I do two versions of these, today I am sharing the sleeve topped with gloves. Super cute, let's take a look:
Here's what you will need:
  • A Pair of Gloves - I use both youth and adult sizes, I also prefer the soft fuzzy gloves.
  • Snowman Printable
  • Microwave Popcorn Bag - be careful here, I bought Orville Redenbacher and they were too large for the print to wrap around. So far the brand I have found that fits perfectly is PopWeaver. You will need a bag that measures appx. 3.5 in x 5.5 in (it is a 65g serving bag)
  • Sticky Strip (or similarly strong adhesive)
  • String
  • Ribbon and Embellishments
How it's done: Pick up your printable from the charm shop and print out the pdf, before I purchased a color printer I would send these over to Office Depot to be printed. Cut in half on the long side directly at 5.5 inches. Very lightly score on the short side at 2.25 inches and 6 inches (just enough to help form it around your popcorn bag). Wrap around your popcorn bag and secure with a strong tape, such as sticky strip. Put your hand inside one glove and then slip the second glove over the top (this is a useful gift, the receiver gets an entire pair). You will then take the pair and slide them over the top of the popcorn sleeve. Secure and tie off the top with string and then decorate as you wish with ribbons, tags, and embellishments. Here I used a wide wire ribbon, an 1/8 inch ribbon, and a bell.

What I learned: This was another one that I had to explain to every person that came to my table. They sold like hotcakes after I explained it, but this year I plan to put out a pair of gloves as part of the display to help identify what it is. I sold these for $5 all day long.

Let me know if you have any questions,

September Calendar + Free Printable

I have finally completed my September calendar. I am really sad thinking about fall coming around the corner. It has already started getting really cool here at night, perfect napping weather. Oh who am I kidding...any day is perfecting napping weather haha! For this month I designed a super cute sunflower background to decorate my September calendar (I can't seem to get away from the flowers lately). If you would like to purchase this background just send me a message (I don't have a paper collection release coming up for September). Let's take a look:
When I was putting this together last night I had my mind set that I really wanted to have that raffia on here. Well, after having to pack and move my craft room twice while we were having our floors re-done I still can't find half my things. I can clearly picture in my mind where it was before I moved everything but I could not find it to save my life. I had the brilliant idea that I should re-organize as I put my craft room back together. HA. Now I have to search forever to find stuff. I finally gave up and took the raffia off of a candle holder I had been working on. If you are playing along the September Printable is now available in the Charm Shop for download:

Since we are getting close to the end of the year (ya I know, don't shoot the messenger!), I just want to make sure that everyone that likes to do the monthly calendars is aware that I do have 2019 available in the Charm Shop already. I have several different fonts to choose from (and more to come), you get the whole year in one file to be able to print and cut as many as you need.
https://craftedcharm.blogspot.com/p/charm-shop_15.html#!/Printables/c/30791571/offset=0&sort=addedTimeDesc
I have started to work out my concept for next years monthly calendar that I create and send to my mother, I think I may be doing a 4x6 fully designed colored print (still magnetic, so don't throw away that metal stand Mother). I like to change up my design every year but I will still have the standard card size ones available in my shop.

Happy crafting!

July Calendar + Free Printable

I didn't think I would ever get a chance to do the July calendar. I have not had any access to my craft room for about 6 weeks now. We replaced all of the floors in my house with a beautiful barn wood vinyl plank flooring. I love them but I would never do the entire house at once again if I had it to do over. It has been so disruptive. I'm starting to go stir crazy not being able to sit at my craft desk. To top it off, there were issues with the flooring in my craft room and I am now waiting yet another month for them to come back and redo it.

While I couldn't dig through boxes to find whatever parts and pieces I needed to make my mother's July calendar, I realized last night that I just so happened to have access to my June Paper Pumpkin kit. Without my color printer I couldn't make my own paper this month so I figured I would create an alternate project from the kit and get this business done. Let's see how it turned out:
Coaster Calendars
This is 100% kit contents, with the exception of some liquid glue I managed to muster up. While I would have generally done a patriotic theme for the 4th, it is her birthday month so I think this is a much better choice. If you are playing along, make sure to download your free July Calendar Download here:

Sadly, no matching pen this month. On the bright side, I found out that silly woman just displays the darn things and doesn't use them anyway. Normally I would have a paper pack release available for you but the July release is behind schedule, like everything else in my life right now. I do, however, have some kits still available in my Etsy Shop from the May 2018 Paper Pumpkin "Manly Moments" (available only in the US). It is rare to find masculine kits and cards,

June Calendar with Free Printable + Diagonal Stripe Paper Collection

Hi y'all! It's been a minute since I have had anything fun to put out. Today I have available for you the June Printable Calendar. Since summer is around the corner I decided to go with a nautical theme for mine. Nothing says summer more than getting to spend time at the beach! Let's take a look:
I love this font, Halo Handletter (I think I have become a font junkie), and look at that shine from the foiling. If you are playing along go ahead and grab your free printable from the Charm Shop.
My background paper is from the early released June paper collection, Diagonal Stripes. These papers will be terrific for Father's Day cards.
Stripes are so universal, they are awesome as full backgrounds or in layering. I love to add a little strip to the edge of a card and as accent pieces. In this pack you get eight fun coordinating summer colors: Bermuda, Pineapple, Black, Coral, Lemon Lime, Navy, Poppy, and Pacific. I keep a stash of the black on hand at all times.

Diagonal Stripe Background + Free Digital Paper Download

Last card for the day, it was a marathon weekend for sure. I decided to participate in this week's Tic Tac Toe challenge #045. Let's take a look:
I think the line I choose is pretty obvious haha, Yellow-Stripe-Thanks. They said yellow stripes but my stripe background stamp refused to give me a good clean print, even with my Misti. Being the crafty person I am I knew the perfect way to solve my problem. I made my own paper, which you can pick up free from the Charm Shop. I must have subconsciously been thinking about the other challenge I was working on over at Just Add Ink#406 because my layout worked into it perfectly.
Here's your crafty tip: For my sentiment I re-hashed some components from the December 2014 Paper Pumpkin kit. The color didn't work with my design so I hauled out a black copic and re-colored it. Easy peasy! I always hang onto my extra parts and pieces from those old kits, you just never know when they will come in handy.

Enjoy! For more inspiration follow me on instagram @craftedcharm where I share additional projects and designs.

Flower Seed Packet Tutorial + Free Printable

I was inspired by the flower seed envelopes in the March 2018 Paper Pumpkin kit but I thought the kit contents were more geared towards Mother's Day, and I still needed to finish some Easter projects. I decided to deconstruct the seed packet and come up with a template to make my own. Let's see how it turned out:
Flower Seed Packet Envelope
Flower Seed Packet Tutorial
Let's make it:
  1. Cut a sheet of designer paper to 8 1/16 x 8 1/2 inches
  2. On the 8 1/16 side you will score at 9/16 and again at 6 1/16
  3. On the 8 1/2 side you will score at 1/2 inch and again at 4 1/2
  4. Fold on all score lines
  5. Use the diagram below to make the appropriate cut outs

Not only does this fit seed packets, but my original intention for my Easter project was to use it for a gift card holder. Here's the bonus, it fits the gift card with the backer perfectly!

I have been dying to use this striped paper from the Spring Paper Collection that I designed, and this was the perfect project I needed. I also created coordinating gift tags that fit the largest oval from the Stampin' Up Stitched Shapes Framelits. Be sure to pick up both from the Charm Shop for your own projects. Super springy and super cute right?

April Calendar with Free Printable + Spring Paper Collection

Today I am sharing my April Calendar design. If you are playing along with the monthly calendar series you can pick up your Free April Printable in the Charm Shop. I designed an Easter/Spring themed digital paper pack to use on my calendar. This paper I have featured here is one of my all time favorites. It is so cute, so simple, but there is just something about this shade of blue that plays right into spring. I can't wait for the winter blahs to be over.
This months font is Grace, I'm loving the cleaner lines without the grid. This calendar will be in my 2019 mini calendar product line up in the Charm Shop. I printed the calendar out on my laser printer and then foiled it with my minc in a mint green foil.
Of course we can't forget the matching pen. You can find the one's I use on Amazon.
The Spring Paper Collection release is super cute. I never knew what I was missing out on until I started designing, and printing, my own paper. I swear, if you have a small craft room this is the way to go. Printable papers are so inexpensive from the get go, and then add on top of that the fact that you can print an unlimited number. How many paper pads did you buy, and ultimately have sitting in storage, because you liked one or two of the designs. You get maybe 2 to 4 of each of those in the entire pad and the rest just sits. What happens if you need to do a large order or project that requires you to mass produce? You just can't beat the savings of printing your own.
I just love these. I look forward to sharing many more with you. I am quickly becoming addicted to pattern making. I can't wait to find a project to use that stripe pattern on.

Have a beautiful day,

Lots to Love (for St. Patty's Day) Box + Free Printable

You all know that I make my children gift bags for all of the holidays. St. Patrick's Day is no exception. What's a girl to do when you don't have a shamrock stamp but really want one? Well, you make your own of course! Today I have a couple gift card holder boxes made from the Lots to Love Box Framelits.
Stampin' Up Lots to Love Box Framelits
I really, really, wanted to keep my St. Patty's theme. That requires green and shamrocks right? I definitely didn't own one, so I made my own tags. I designed these to fit the Stitched Shapes Framelits. Download your free printable here. You could use any circle punch, or die, that you may have on hand. These ones are 1 7/8 inches.
