That gorgeous sentiment is one of my favorites from the Colorful Seasons stamp set. I die cut it with my go to set, the Stitched Shapes Framelits. This set is so versatile, it is the one single die set I couldn't live without. I have been really loving white embossing over black card stock lately and this one turned out so crisp and clean.
I think using this technique was just so much more fun than using just a designer paper for the background. If you haven't tried it yet I think you will have a lot of fun with it, I know I did. It's an oldy but a goody!
Have a fabulous day, and happy crafting!

I agree with you - this has turned out beautifully! Love those bright colours and the resist emboss background. It makes a colourful backdrop for the sentiment. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jan, looking at this again I think that black makes it pop even more.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! Your background looks fabulous and the boldness of the white-on-black sentiment is so striking. Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.
