Global Design Project #103 + Masculine Card

I have a confession, I am in love with these metallic year of cheer washi tapes, and I may need an intervention. I created this card for this weeks Global Design Project challenge and I can not get over how much I am enjoying mixing that crumb cake cardstock with the metallics.
This is a very clean lined card, which is something I typically go for, and your favorite guy would never object to receiving this. I have that on good authority. Whenever I design a masculine card I take it to my favorite guy, my son, and get his seal of approval. This passed with flying colors. To make the washi stand out even more I took my score board and scored down both sides of it. I really think it finishes the look off.
The sentiment came from my favorite handwritten font set, the Sheltering Tree stamp set. I really debated about cutting that heart (which is from the Support Ribbon Framelits dies) out of some copper foil, but in the end I thought the single pop of color was perfect. It doesn't happen very often, but when I finished those few things on this card front I did not feel like it needed anything more.
One thing is for sure, I highly recommend that you stock up on the year of cheer metallic washi's. I just don't think I will ever have enough of it, you won't be disappointed.

Have a fabulous day, and happy crafting!
