Today's share is my February 2018 4x4 coaster calendar design. Which of course includes a cutie patutie matching pen
(find the ones I use here).
This month I used our new
Painted With Love Designer Paper. It's loaded with gold foiling and the colors are perfect for Valentine's projects. I also have a gold
Metallic Foil Doily (which I cut in half), a matching
In Color Bitty Bow, and the heart I cut out with one of the dies from the new
Lots to Love Box Framelits and popped it up on some
fun foam. The paper I used for the heart is from a coordinating digital paper pack that I designed to coordinate (stay tuned for more projects using this set).
As usual I printed my calendar
(get your free February Calendar Printable here) onto
SU Whisper White Cardstock and foiled it with my
Minc using some
Deco Foil in Pink Melon. I strictly use, and highly recommend, the regular
Whisper White Cardstock from Stampin Up for foiling because it is a lighter weight cardstock and has a smooth finish, both ideal for a clean foiled image. I also prefer the
Deco Foil brand over the
Heidi Swapp foil because I find that it is a little thicker. Either product will work just fine, it is just my personal preference to use
Deco Foil.
