Every year vendors send Christmas Cards to my office. It always feels like such a waste of money. You know how it is, as soon as the holiday is over they go straight to the trash bin. It's not like a card that was given to you by a loved one, so what would be the purpose of holding onto them? This year I had a plan. As soon as the holiday was over I decided that I would repurpose them, so I hauled them home.
I turned this handful of cards into 35 Christmas gift tags. Just grab those tag punches and dies and recycle, recycle, recycle! It's only January and I'm already set for tags next Christmas, and it feels oh so good to not throw another batch of cards into the trash.
I also turned this beautiful foiled snowflake card into two more. I think I love my repurposed cards better than the original, and the original was gorgeous. I just couldn't bare to add a sentiment to the front and distract from all of that fantastic intricate foil detail.
Happy crafting!
